Apple ID backup

I recently logged my Apple ID into onther device but I can’t get my I cloud backup. They ask me to my old passcode I enterd correct but not verifying , should this problem to my now passcode and old passcode is same, what I do for get my backup ?

Passcode or password?


As long as both devices can connect to the Internet then the same password should be required for the specific Apple ID being used to sign on.
