I use to be able to send iMessages. But within the last week or so it no longer is sending iMessages. I looked this issue up online and tried figuring it out, but I am still unable to send imessages

Try
Settings, Messages, turn off iMessage.
Restart the phone.
Settings, Messages, turn on iMessage, SMS and MMS
I finally was able to log out of the iCloud and religiously back in on the phone. The IMessage now shows that it is on. Thank you. When I was digging into this I saw that under my Apple ID there was 3 computers I did not recognize. I removed them, but I am wondering if there is anything else I should do?
Good news. I Don't think you need to do any more.
