How do I take off the two -factor authentication. It is causes me to many problems

Two-factor authentication is enabled by default on new Apple IDs and cannot be turned off.

Do you mean you have the code but don't see where to put it? On Macs the code pane tends to obscure the pane where you would enter the code, so you have to move the former out of the way. when you enter the code, in most cases you can choose to trust the device or browser so that you don't have to enter it again.
