Two-Step authentication
I see in the official support pages that once you've enabled Two-Step authentication, there's no turning back and you cannot disable it.
When I purchased my recent iphone, this new authentication method was not optional if I remember correctly, and I had to follow it. I have only one Apple device, and this means that if someone steals my iphone, I'll be locked out of my account forever!!!! I have no desire to add a phone number of someone else who isn't me... This method of protection is somewhat over-protection since it's more likely to lock people out of their OWN account rather than protect them. I really think this feature needs to be re-thinked by Apple. Is there any way I can disable two-step authentication???
