Hi, I have an iPad that keeps flashing the Apple logo every few seconds.

My iPad flashes the apple logo every few seconds. IF I PUSH THE TOP BOTTON A FEW TIME I GET THE RESTORE message on the iPad. I went to "Support.apple.com/ipad/restore", with my iPad plugged into my Mac (Catalina 10.15 +). I tried what they suggested, pushing the Top Botton and start Botton at the same time, but nothing happened, the iPad still flashes the logo on and off every few seconds.

Help ?

Your iPad must be restored - but first, you need to allow your iPad to charge its battery. Connect the iPad to its Power Adapter and allow it to charge undisturbed for several hours - perhaps overnight. Hopefully the iPad will the remain powered-on.

If you see the Restore screen on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

These support pages outline the available methods to restore an iPad - either from a backup, or to Factory Settings:

Restore your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch from a backup – Apple Support

Restore your iPhone, iPad or iPod to factory settings – Apple Support

Restore all content to iPad from a backup - Apple Support

You’ll need access to either a PC (with iTunes installed) or a Mac (with iTunes or Finder - as appropriate for the installed version of MacOS).

Download and use iTunes for Windows – Apple Support

Update to the latest version of iTunes – Apple Support

Use of a PC or Mac computer is unavoidable. If you don’t have access to a suitable computer of your own, that of a helpful friend or family member will suffice. Alternatively, the technicians at the Genius Bar of your local Apple Store or Apple Authorised Service Provider (AASP) will be delighted to assist.

Time for you to search online for your nearest, “local” Apple store location and call contact phone numbers and call to make an appointment to have your Apple iPad diagnosed and options presented you.

Failing that,

You need to contact Apple support via the contact support link located at the upper right hand corner of every Webpage of these Apple support communities.

Use the Hardware Repair, Device Performance and/or Battery usage & Charging support categories.

OR

by installing and using the Apple Support app found in the iOS App Store.
