storage issues with family storage

so im in a family storage plan and it’s recently been upgraded from 200 GB to 2 TB and on family storage it shows we’ve used very little of the storage (photo below) yet my device still says I’m out of storage if I try and take a picture or video. It’s not my own storage cause my device only has 5 GB but I don’t know what I should do do I just wait or is there something I should do??

You're getting the message because your device is out/low on storage. How much storage is left on your device (not in the cloud)?
