My mailboxes have disappeared again -- so annoying!

Signing out and in of iCloud should jumpstart the Apple mail accounts, .me, .mac or .icloud, and get they syncing started again.
Are you sure you didn't change the iCloud ID also. That would remove all of the emails from the old ID.

Are you referring to the mailboxes under Favorites? Then click on the down arrow (⋁) to the right of Favorites. That a should unhide the mailboxes if they've been hidden.
Sign out of iCloud on your Mac and sign back in again. Then check the mail.

My mail does not show incoming or any mail. I think it’s a question of iCloud after I changed my password

I finally got online with Apple support, screen sharing etc. supervisor, and by trying this and that, I got my email back with the used-to look and all.
Go figure…!
