Safari keeps on opening old tabs

When opening Safari it keeps on opening old tabs from a very old session. It dosen't change no matter if I open new tabs/homepages or clear all tabs.

I can adjust settings so Safari open with blank window and it opens with a blank page. But as soon as I make Safari remember tabs from "last session", it opens with the former very old session tabs again.

MacBook Pro 15″, OS X 10.11
