Apple Music library / changing country

Hi all! I moved to London last week from Italy and I realized that I cannot download certain apps (like that of my carrier here) because the country on Apple store is still Italy. I would need to switch to United Kingdom, but I have a full music library with active subscription and I know that I change country I will lose it. On a side note, I have never managed (don’t know why) to “connect” my subscription and music library on my phone with my Mac, so when I listen to music by using my laptop don’t know why I can’t see my iPhone Music Library.

is there a way I can “export” or save it otherwise somewhere or even download it on my Mac dunno so that I can recover all my music after I will have switched the country?

If we understand your post correctly, you've recently moved and realized you're unable to download certain apps because the App Store is still in your previous country. You want to know if there is a way to export or save your music to your Mac, so you can recover it after changing your country. We're happy to help!


When you cancel your Apple Music subscription, the music you downloaded will also be removed when the subscription period ends. You can redownload available music from the Apple Music Catalog after resubscribing. The songs that you purchased will not be removed and will remain, so can be played at any time.

Thanks a lot for your reply. My problem is that my library is comprised of songs that I had actually purchase (when I had no subscription) and songs that I just added to my library by having an active subscription. The weirdest thing is that on my Mac, I can see only those I had purchase, can’t connect to my library/apple music subscription of my iPhone. Would you mind sending screenshot of where I am supposed to find this music after I will have changed the country ? It happened to me last year when I moved to the US - had a full library in Italy, then switched the country, re-subscribed for Apple Music but I had to download song by song (those that I remembered of course…). I think there is no way but losing the library..
