My screen is locked on my iPad. I have tried holding the home button-nothing. Have tried holding home and too button on the side -nothing. What do I do now

My screen is frozen/locked is on my iPad. I have tried holding home button-nothing. Tried holding the the home and button on the side-nothing. Still frozen. Please help.
