iBook 2000s style clamshells for iPads

I never had an iBook clamshell back 20 years ago and they did look beautiful with their colourful and translucent colours. But I thought...what if somebody was made such clamshells (with a keyboard, extra ports and why not some extra battery) with a translucent colour and we could just insert our iPads (Air, Pro, standard) there. Wouldn't it be cool?

I am considering buying an iPad Air as a complement to my MacbookPro, however this question does not concern these products per se.
