iPhone 13 mini not synchronising

Hi all,


Just got a new iPhone 13 mini and even if it trusts my Mac, it doesn’t appear in iTunes so I can’t synchronise it.

I run on a MacBook Air 11” from late 2010, my iPhone 11 Pro doesn’t have any issue it synchronises perfectly well even I use 3rd-party cable.

No new updates are available for iTunes, and my iPhone 13 mini is up to date as well.

Anyone knows how to solve the problem?

Hi Jeff,


I actually managed to get a last minute appointment yesterday afternoon at a Genius Bar.


They inspected my computer and said it was too old to let the 13 mini synchronise (MacBook Air 11” from late 2010).

We understand your iPhone 13 mini doesn't appear in iTunes on your MacBook Air when wanting to sync. We'd be happy to help!
