I have a used ipad my sister gave me. It has been completely wiped of her info. I began setting up my info when interrupted. Now I can't get back in because I never actually added my Apple ID and got a 4 digit passcode. How do I fix this?

Thank you Giulio, She did that before she gave it to me. I reached the quick start and filled in my email address then went searching for my Apple ID, then got locked out with the ipad asking for a passcode.
