How much space does IOS 15 take up? What is this new IOS called?

iOS 15 is called iOS 15. The amount of space taken up by the OS may vary slightly by device. On my iPhone it takes up 8.25 GB.

Thank you Muguy, that helps a lot! I will be upgrading my iPad Air 2 to IOS 15, but still need to free up space since I only have 16gb...I really need to upgrade!
