Although I wouldn’t say it’s definitely a service all Apple Stores offer, I believe it’s possible. As much as Apple tries to standardize things globally, I have experienced some variability of service level from store to store. I may have a biased sample living in Japan where tradition of service is a real thing. I’ve experienced Apple Store here going out of their way - and probably somewhat off-manual - to be helpful.
Suggest you drop by and ask, or call to the store(s) available to you and ask directly in advance.
I think at worst, they would let you sit there at Genius Bar (with appointment) and go through the process yourself with them holding hands if needed. I’m sure this would be possible at the Apple Store I go to in Tokyo.
