copy iTunes library to new computer

I copied iTunes to a flashdrive

I copied that to the iTunes folder in Music

but, I have not been able to have itunes access that folder to transfer music and playlists to iTunes on the new computer

help?

I am trying to get my iTunes Music Library off of an old hard drive. The laptop that it is from no longer works so I cant use iTunes to export the music to my new computer. How do I find the files that contain the music library and how do I import them into iTunes on my new computer? The hard drive that contains the files is from a Windows laptop.
