In my Iphone settings, under Two-Factor authentication, I can see my updated phone number as my Trusted Phone number.
However, if I try to update Whatsapp from app store, a two-factor authentication pops up and sends a code to my OLD trusted phone number.
So, even if I have updated the trusted phone number, it doesn’t seem to work.

Thank you for your help. Yes, indeed! It is an issue regarding my trusted phone number.
I had deleted my old number which I couldn’t access, and added a new one. But it still tries to send the pin/code on my old trusted phone number, even if I have only one (new) trusted phone number.
