I forgot my passcode and therefore reset the phone in order to get a new passcode. When I try restoring the backup. It kept on asking me for the old passcode after providing the new one. I kept trying till its now asking for a recovery key. I don’t remember having this recovery code.

If you tap Account Recovery what does it show Recovery Key as enabled? If so, are you able to generate a new key there?

Thank you Sharon. I already have been able to change my Apple ID password and have generated a new passcode. It’s however my backups I’m unable to access. They kept asking for the old passcode I could not remember and I kept trying till it gave me the picture up there. Though I have access to my trusted device and and Apple ID password, I am unable to generate a new recovery key because I cannot find that where it’s supposed to be.
Thanks Snickz. It will ask me to sign in to my Apple ID again. Then after that the passcode and then after ask me for the recovery key.
