IOS 15 issue with ethernet

I marked this post resolved but then issue reappeared within a few hours. I am unable to get ethernet to work on iPad Pro with latest IOS 15.0.2 update. 

Since upgrading to IOS 15 my lightning to ethernet connector no longer functions. Oddly enough I was able to download and install the IOS 15.0.2 update with airplane mode active over ethernet. After update it no longer functions. Settings shows ethernet active and the adapter is flashing. When airplane mode is turned on or individual wifi or cellular disabled ethernet stops working but shows active in settings.
