Macbook air Safari stopped working

Safari browser stopped working. I've reinstall operating system and Safari still won't open.

Next, try opening it in safe mode. This step can help identify something in your user settings that's preventing it from fully opening.

How to use safe mode on your Mac


You might also try opening Safari in another user account. If you don't have another account, create a test user account to see if Safari will open. This can isolate a more wide-spread issue:

Set up users, guests, and groups on Mac


From there, have you also taken each of the steps in the support article below? We ask because we want to be sure that you've also force quit Safari, turned off extensions, tested in a private window, and installed all available Apple software updates.

If Safari on Mac doesn't open a webpage or isn’t working as expected
