Issue Adding Scotia Bank Visa Card to Phone AND Watch

Hello,


I just got an Apple Watch SE (about 3 days ago), and when I try to add my ScotiaBank Visa to it, I get an error saying 'Card Not Added Contact your card issuer for more information'.


The only way I am able to add my card to my watch is if I remove it from my iPhone 11. In this case, I cannot add it back to my iPhone and I get the same error.


It essentially is only allowing me to only have access to my card on ONE device only. It can connect to either device, but only actively works on one at a time.


I called Scotia Bank, but they don't seem to have a solution for it.


Anyone run into this issue? Any help?

Notes:

  • All software is up to date (Phone = 15.0.2; Watch = 8.0.1)
  • Both devices have been restarted
  • I have also tried logging out and back in to my Apple ID
