Agenda widget problem in iPadOS 15.1

The agenda widget in iPadOS 15.1 only shows lines, on iOS 15.1 it shows text.

Calendar cannot close calendar selection screen When I open the IOS calendar app it immediately opens into the Calendar selection screen where you can toggle on and off each calendar. However the option to close that screen is not present and I cannot return to normal Calendar items view mode. The work around is to swipe-up and close the app. First time access is then as normal; however when I close the device and later reopen the agenda I get locked into the agenda selection screen again.

Problem solved. Suddenly the widget showed text this morning.
