applewatch 6 'voice' question

On my applewatch 6, when cycling I get a VOICE every five miles telling me my distance, time, and average speed. The info is useful, but I don't need to hear it verbally out loud. HOW do I turn off the voice?!

Hello Daddy-yeo,

Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities. It sounds like you have a question about the Voice Feedback feature on your Apple Watch.

We're happy to provide some information to assist.

You can toggle this feature by navigating from your Apple Watch to Settings > Workouts > Voice Feedback. The guide here can also assist: Start a workout on Apple Watch

Specifically the section "Adjust Apple Watch during a workout" that states:

"Check your progress: Raise your wrist to see your workout stats, including your goal completion ring, elapsed time, average pace, distance covered, calories consumed, and heart rate. (There’s no goal ring if you haven’t set a goal.) In watchOS 8, you can hear metrics like pace, speed, time elapsed, pause, resume, and progress against activity rings and goals. To turn Voice Feedback on or off, open the Settings app on your Apple Watch, tap Workouts, then tap Voice Feedback."
