Hello Cookiebell19.

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities and for sharing these details with us. Having emails re-appear after deleting them, doesn't sound like expected behavior. Please allow us to assist.

When this issue occurs, is it affecting one specific email account or all email accounts you have linked to your device? If you restart your iPhone, does this specific issue continue to occur?

If that doesn't help, you might want to try removing the affected email account and re-adding it. To remove your email account, go to Settings > Mail, then tap on Accounts. Select the specific email account you wish to remove and tap on Delete Account. Once you've completed this, you an re-add your email account:

If you do have any pending updates available, it would be best to install them. Keeping your device fully updated can help resolve various issues. Just in case, the resources below can guide you through the update process:

So optimum altice stinks they said that you can no longer use the mail

app on I phone with optimum it’s not supported that you have to go in through safari and do that way they still are not deleting . I’m so frustrated I want to change emails but I do have a gmail but I had optimum for 20 years and too many people to contact to start changing anyone else having an issue
