Question: Can't hide Apple Music (the service) in Music (the app) on Monterey 12.0.1

Previously, you could hide Apple Music (the service) in the Music app under preferences/restrictions. After upgrading to Monterey 12.0.1 this is no longer possible, and you can't do it anywhere else either - including in screen time/contents and restrictions. I'm not going to subscribe to Apple Music, and I don't want to see it!

Come on Apple, try treating your users like adults, with the ability to choose.

I have the same feelings about this issue and consider the constant "reminders" to join Apple Music subscription service an extreme intrusion, especially after already shelling out top dollar for Apple products. I've seen multiple concerns about this issue posted. Is Apple Support even reading any of these discussions?
