When I receive a long Voice Memo on Messages, is there a way to keep Voice Memos playing without having to adjust the Display and Brightness settings/duration? Most apps will not make the display to go to sleep, but I really hope that the next update will keep Voice Memos playing over the time limit set on Display.

Thank you for posting in the Apple Support Communities. We understand that the display locks while using the Voice Memos app, and we're here for you.
As it turns out, the display will lock when using the Voice Memos app, since that app is dependent on Auto-Lock. If you'd like the display to remain on when a voice memo plays, we suggest extending the length of time in Settings > Display & Brightness > Auto-Lock. Check out the section "Change when iPhone automatically locks" here for more details:

Thank you so much for the info. Actually I do that every time that I get a long voice memo from my students on iMessage. Since I get long recordings all the time, I have to do the same process daily and then I have to change the Auto Lock to my normal settings, because I don't want to accidentally drain out my battery.
In a perfect world, Apple will do an update on Voice Memos such as when long recordings are playing on iMessage, the phone won't lock until the entire Voice Memo is finished. Do you happen to know if Apple has a "wish list" for future updates?
