Can't print color images in Pages

I can print the images in Note in black and white. But, when I try and select color printing, the printer prints nothing. I can print color from other apps. I tried saving as a .pdf and then printing from Preview - the images will still print only when I choose black and white. I removed the printer and re-added it to my Mac. I can copy the exact same picture from my Pages document and paste it to Numbers and it prints with color. This is exasperating! On a Mac Big Sur 11.6. I want to throw my computer in the trash so I hope someone can help me.

With all due respect, this answer is not helpful. My post explicitly states that I am able to print the same image in black & white; which implies that I know how to use the black and white checkbox. I exported my file to Word, emailed the file to myself on a PC, and then sent the file to the printer. I printed in color without issue. The problem is with Pages. Not my print settings. I can print from this Mac in color from all other apps. The same picture I'm trying to print in Pages will print in color in Numbers.

When your printing options come up in Pages, make sure you don't have "black & white" checked in: Set printing options for paper size, paper feed, and more on Mac
