Youtube app voice search disappeared

Hello there. 3 days ago I was still using voice search on the Youtube app, a day later it disappeared and never showed up again.

Apparently that has been an issue ever since 2018. At least that's what I can find on here. Anyone got a fix for that?

I don’t know. It works for me. I can’t replicate your issue.

For Siri queries, make sure that the device language matches your region, or Siri will be disabled. Dictation should still work then. Use Siri on your Apple TV - Apple Support

Like I said, I am aware of how it works, I've used it many times. But now it just brings me to Apple TV when clicking the microphone button.

To use dictation inside the YouTube app, first navigate to Search (magnifying glass), so you’ll get the text field, then speak with the microphone button pressed.
To use Siri for YouTube, include the line “on YouTube” in your query.
