With the new 15.1 update, I have noticed that series voice is pixelated/low quality now whenever I am in low power mode, and back to full audio quality when on normal power mode. To be clear, this isn’t the robotic off-line Siri voice, but indeed the native Siri voice.
anyone else experiencing this issue?

I actually have the same problem with siri’s voice being pixelated on low power mode. After calling apple’s technical support for help I was informed that the voice of siri will sound pixelated on low power mode for maximum battery conservation. If you want siri’s voice to be normal you would have to turn off low power mode.

I also had the same issue but for me switching on and off the low power mode fixed it. But honestly the problem is that the voice is also pixelated on airpods so I first thought they became too wet while working out...

We understand Siri's voice quality seems to be lower while Low Power Mode is enabled. To get started, does this also happen if you change Siri to a different accent or voice instead? We can use the info here to help change the voice/accent: Change Siri settings on iPhone
In the meantime, also try restarting your iPhone if you haven't already: Restart your iPhone Any change after giving that a try?

Appreciate the response! Have both a try and indeed the problem persists. I also tried downloading the enhanced Siri voice through the VoiceOver feature and no dice.
I posted this problem to Macrumors, and someone shared the same issue, and found a full reset of the iPhone helped. Will give that a shot.
i’m not in low power mode hardly ever, and Siri randomly gets a grainy voice when saying ” your message to ___ says ___”
that prompt specifically.
I just contacted Apple Costumer Service today they transferred me to the tech team and it’s mind blowing to me that I can solve this problem looking up on the internet in their own apple community thing but not the tech team. Looks like apple is really loosing their quality in team and product
I have the same problem. Restarting doesn’t help. It almost happened out of nowhere in ios 15.1 and is only happening in low power mode but is normal Siri voice in normal battery mode.
I hate this new “feature”. If they are going to continue to take away functionality when using low power mode, maybe it’s time they made it configurable.
