How do I get my voice to operate properly to be heard on my Memoji my face works with no sound?

First, we'd recommend to update to the latest iOS 14 version, which is currently iOS 14.8.1. If you don't have a back up already, we'd recommend doing so prior to installing the update: Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
Should it persist after updating, what happens if you test using headphones with your iPhone and making an animated Memoji?
Do you hear the sound when you play it back, or is the receiving person unable to hear it?
