Will the apple watch series 7 GPS + Cellular version work in UK if it is bought from USA for cell phone carrier EE? I am in USA and want to gift someone in UK.
the cellular will not work usa, canada and mexico use a different system then the rest of the world
thank you everyone for all the replies. I also got confirmation from Apple support and sales that the cellular part won't work in UK if watch is bought from USA.
It would make so much more sense if you want to gift an Apple Watch to someone in the UK, that you have someone you know buy it from Apple in the UK, to give to this person and you pay them for it. You'd not need to even worry whether there is any compatibility issue, which there could be.

Thanks for the reply @lobsterghost1. But there is more to the story which I won't bore you with. All I want to know is whether the series 7 watch supports the frequency band of UK carriers or not.
