Canon printer Stopped- "filter" failed message
Running Catalina 10.15.7 on MBA 2020. All of a sudden, I cannot print with my Canon MP495 and get the Printer- "filter" failed message. I have tried all suggestions: turning Mac and printer off. Deleting printer and reinstalling. Resetting printer system (which deletes all other printers, too).Even reinstalling Catalina. And scanning for malware and viruses. Nothing I do will allow me to use the printer directly. I can share the printer with another MacBook running 10.15.7 and am able to print through that computer when it is on and nearby. What else should I be looking at?
