iPad Pro Won’t Charge After Installing IOS 15.1

Troubleshooting generally requires substitution of the Power Adapter and cable for another known-good item.

If you continue to experience difficulties, you might be best advised to visit the Genius Bar at your local Apple Store or Apple Authorised Service Provider (AASP) - where the technicians will be able to test and assess your iPad, Power Adapter and cable(s):

Took it to Best Buy and the guy cleaned the charging port and it seemed to work. Charging with a crappy low wattage charger didn't increase past 1%. Switching to a 100W charger sped up the charging, but still took 20 minutes to get to 5%. Much slower than usual.

Took it home. Using the original charger(30W) and cable that came with the ipad doesn't work. No lightning bolt to indicate charging. Plugged it into my Dell laptop USB-C docking station which pushes 120W started charging. Left it for 3.5 hrs and it is at 84%. Much slower than before iOS 15.1 update

Called Apple support. They set up an appointment at BestBuy to look at it. Will report back(good or bad) after appointment
