Apple Health Vaccine Record and VAMS/CDC

Apple Health app doesn't recognize VAMS/CDC generated vaccination QR code, so the Health App doesn't pop up to incorporate the record

That’s correct. It only works with corporate and private health providers. What the backwards VAMS system generates isn’t a validation code, it just brings up the website for you to log in.


Canada and the EU have verifiable government proof QRcodes. The US is embarrassingly inept. I suggest getting your booster from a drugstore chain that provides digital proof to make international travel easier.
