Delete unwanted default apps like news, stocks, podcast etc on macOS - Please comment to make apple listen.

How do we give feed back to apple for the ability to delete unwanted default apps like news, stocks, podcast etc. I do not get how these apps are critical to the OS. The main Reason I switched to macOS yrs ago was to avoid bloatware like this. At least Windows allows me to delete / uninstall stuff.

Funny thing is I can delete these apps on iPad and iPhone but not on a work oriented machine like Mac, Very Unfortunate! Hoping enough people add to this comment to make apple listen. In the mean time, I have already switched over one machine to run Linux.

So, though I appreciate your point and would love to reduce the size by removing unneeded default apps, this community forum is not officially reviewed by Apple. So as muguy noted, best to provide your feedback via the link:

Then it appear, one knowns those apps can not be deleted as they are baked into the OS

These are part of the OS but you don’t need to see them, just leave them be. The entire OS is mounted read only for security reasons and thus cannot be modified. There are plenty other things in the system that you will never use. Anyway, the space you would save would be rather insignificant.
