I have the latest version of iTunes but when I tried to restore my iPhone, I get a message saying that I need to download the latest version of iTunes

If you are still running Windows 7 or 8, then the last version of iTunes you could install is no longer “the latest version of iTunes” and you would need Windows 10 or 11 to install it.
