After updating my ipad Air 3 to ios 15, one of my 2 speaker stopped working. Is it possible to restore to 14.8?

Having updated to iPadOS15, you’ll not be able to restore iPadOS 14.8.

Be aware that iPadOS 15.1 is current; if you have not updated to this version, you should do so as this latest version includes many fixes and essential security updates.

As for one of your speakers becoming inoperative, check your speaker balance:

Settings > Accessibility > Audio/Visual > [Balance]

To individually test your speakers, play an audio source. While audio is playing, “pan” the audio between Left and Right speakers. Audio should be audible from one or other speaker - or from both when the slider is set to its central “0.00” position.
