I want to install Windows 10 from boot camp assistant, but when I go to windows installation (Windows Setup) it's giving me an error. And I want to reinstall macOS but would i lose data?

If you value your user data—always have a current backup.
3-2-1 Backup Strategy: three copies of your data, two different methods, and one offsite.
Almost all the time nothing is lost when you reinstall macOS on top of existing macOS. However, sometimes things get deleted or messed up.
I would backup before reinstalling macOS on itself.
