Outlook notifications to my watch

Just this week, out of nowhere, my apple watch has started notifying me when i receive an email to my work Outlook email address. I'm assuming it came with the IOS 15, but it will not turn off. I've turned off notifications both from the iphone>settings>notifications, and the apple watch app. Any suggestions? It's driving me nuts!

I had this same issue happen to me just recently. I do not have outlook installed on my watch, but would still receive notifications, oddly enough, only when my phone was locked. The fix I found is as follows:

  1. On your watch - swipe down from the top to see the "outlook" notification.
  2. then swipe that notification to the left to reveal the three dots
  3. click those dots and select "turn off"

This allows notification to remain on your phone while turning off the ghost notifications on your watch. Hope this helps.

I may have figured out how to resolve this issue. You have to go into the physical Outlook apps settings and select Mail Notifications. Here are the steps I followed to turn off notifications.

  1. Once in the Outlook app click picture in top left corner
  2. Click the gear in the bottom left corner.
  3. Open up notifications under Mail.
  4. Change notifications from focused and other inboxes to none.

I hope this helps as it seems to have resolved my issue.
