pencil drawing in Notes pixelated

ever since the last update (iOS 15.1 on ipad pro M1 12.9) all of the notes and drawings in the Notes app that are done with the pencil tool show up as large pixelated lines instead of the usual thin pencil-looking lines. It makes it hard to view those notes or use that tool.

FWIW, the same notes look fine on my iphone or mac.

Any solutions? thanks.

It is a subtle texture but I noticed it disappeared in the iPad OS 16 update. This texture made scribbling or sketching feel more natural like using a real pencil but now the lines all look like like ink writing/drawing. iOS Notes App - Pencil drawing tools disappear Hi all, I noticed the following behaviour and consider it a bug. How to proceed? Given I open a new note in the iOS notes app (ipad pro 2020) and I open the drawing tools [1] and I start to draw with the Pencil then the drawing tools stay open (as expected). When I close the drawing tools [2] and reopen them [1] then they disappear when I continue drawing with the Pencil then the drawing tools minimise as if the "Auto-minimise" option was active (but it is not). This prevent e.g. the usage of the ruler tool (it disapears with the drawing tools). Any idea how to appproach this? Can I file a bug report to Apple? Worth it? Thx! iPad: Apple Notes partially blocked by toolbar in landscape view. iPad: When trying to write with Apple Pencil on a notes page (usually a saved jpg or pdf) in landscape mode, the tool bar obscures part of the image and I can’t mark it with the pencil. Any solutions? iPad iOS 16.1.1 iPad Pro 2022
