Thunderbolt 2 connection

How do I connect my m1 ipad pro 4th generation to 2 different LaCie Rugged thunderbolt 2 drives. I have tried the Apple adapter to TB2 to TB3 but the drive do not mount. I added a power cord to the drive but still no connection.

iPad Pro, iPadOS 14

Mario,

The issue is that a LaCie Rugged Thunderbolt 2 drive has a different connector then USB-C. I bought the Apple adpter for thunderbolt to USB-C , the drive still will not mount even with power provided to the drive. I tired it with an Anker 8 in 1 hub, the hub that had a 100w power supply, no mount. Anker says they do not support Thunderbolt 2 drives. I get a message that Tunderbolt 2 is not supported when using that hub. Both of my drives worked fine on my iMac, but I no longer have that available and I need the files for a big project with a deadline next weekend.
