Working device with black screen. Restart not solving the issue.

Apple watch screen is black, but the watch seems to be working as it makes sounds and still responds to iPhone.(updated even with black screen to watchOS 8.1).

I tried normal and forced restart, charging for entire days and nothing seems to solve the issue. It seems like the device has a hardware malfunction. It is less than two years old, and of course, Apple care is already expired. I only used the watch for running, so less than two hours per day on average.

Maybe you have Screen Curtain enabled. See the 'Use Screen Curtain on your Apple Watch' section in:

The Screen Curtain was not enabled. The watch was working well when suddenly went black. I have tried everything, even enabling and disabling the screen curtain. Nothing helps. The watch works and keeps time with voiceover. I think the screen or the hardware controlling the screen is faulty.
