Closing open apps
I get tired of closing all the open apps one by one. Has anybody seen an app that can close them all at once?
iPad, iPadOS 15

Do you have a particular problem with your iPad or your Apps?
Your iPad will automatically and optimally manage system resources. Unless misbehaving, there is no technical benefit/advantage in manually force-closing open Apps; when idle, Apps are placed in a suspended state where they consume almost no system resources.
Apps resuming from a suspended state will resume far more quickly than re-initialising a fresh running instance. Resuming from a suspended state is also considerably more power efficient.

Thanks,
That is the opposite of what I was led to believe. I stopped by a store that repairs tablets to have my battery checked. They said the suspended apps would affect my battery usage and it would be best to insure I close them and only keep the ones I constantly use.
guess I got more searching and thinking to do about this.
Well, now I’m seeing that you were correct. I found articles on this. Here is an example. It’s for the iPhone but gotta believe the iPad would work the same.
Thanks
