Hi Norzaimah!

Thats a tough one, when you delete important photos unintentionally. The good news is, if you keep backups on your devices, depending on the settings, you might be able to recover them.

First, of course if you have iCloud Photos turned on, and delete one, they are deleted from all other devices also using iCloud photos and the same Apple ID, and as said, they are put in the Recently Deleted folder as a precaution).

Can you say what devices you’ve used iCloud Photos with?

I’m just wondering if you had the option to “Download and keep originals” on, on one or some of your devices, as opposed to “Optimize Storage”.

Chances are, for instance, if you have a Mac, and have used iCloud Photos with it, using the Download and keep originals option, at any point, all of the photos may be in a Time Machine backup, (If you have one).

Likewise, it’s possible that if you do have a Mac, of course if you delete a photo using iCloud, it’s deleted from the server, hence deleting from all the devices that have iCloud enabled.

It’s possible that you have multiple libraries. Only the ONE Library designated as the System Library syncs iCloud Photos. So it may be possible that you have more than one library on yo ur Mac with the photos.

Likewise, if you’ve ever signed out of a device, you notice you are asked if you want to keep a copy of your data. If you’ve ever done that after disabling iCloud Photos on an iPhone/iPod/iPad, etc. THEN backed up one, or any of those devices, then you could get the data back by restoring that backup, whether it be from a computer, or iCloud.

Otherwise, if you stored these photos in iCloud Drive as opposed to Photos, there is also a recovery option for files at iCloud.com > Account Settings > Advanced > Recover Files.

If an archive was done recently, (And this depends on how you use iCloud), the. There maybe an archive available there.

Hope that helps! If so, do you use iCloud Photos on more than one device? And if so, what devices? Also knowing if you use other cloud services is helpful, as perhaps you have some also stored in Google Photos, One Drive, Dropbox, and so on and so forth. Thanks.
