New iPhone 13 has no junk folder

I had a junk folder in my last iPhone. I got the new 13 and when I open the email client that comes with the phone I now have only inbox, sent, unread, and trash.

I can’t even create a Junk folder.

Thank you.

Hello jocelinefromrockledge,

We see you're having issues with your Junk folder missing after updating iOS. We'd be happy to help.

Are you just trying to access the Junk/Spam folder or are you trying to move emails to it?

Is this happening with just one email account, or multiple email accounts?

Some things to try would include forcing the Mail app to close, and relaunch it: Close an app on your iPhone or iPod touch

You can also try restarting the device as well.

If you're using a business/enterprise email address, also try checking with your company to see if there are restrictions in place.

If you're trying to just move the email to the 'Junk' mailbox, try swiping left on the email, tap More, and tap Move to Junk.

Let us know if those steps improve the situation.

We are here for you.
