What are FinderHelper app and Core Sync app and should I trust them to access network volumes?

      • Runs in the background ("not visible," core purpose does not requiring interaction from user for general file syncing related Adobe files).

      • Common residing disk location is inside the applications' *Package Contents* of the `Google Drive.app` (e.g., `/Applications/Google Drive.app/Contents/Applications`). May be different on other machines, software and/or operating system versions.

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. Based on your post, you have FinderHelper app and Core Sync apps that are requesting access to your network volumes. We'll do our best to assist.


These apps are third-party. To make sure they aren't related to anything harmful, we'd recommend running Malwarebytes on your Mac: Malwarebytes for Mac

After installing scan the Mac, it will remove anything harmful, then restart the Mac.
