These are international English-language forums and your geographic location affects selling price. The cost of used computers in a country or region with few computers or computer stores can by very high compared to regions where computers and their sales outlets are abundant.

Then there are the currency issues.

Because of this, I use Craigslist to check local used computer pricing. It allows me to select a geographic area to search. Its resolution is quite good. I can view pricing fr computers near me and then switch to an area 40 miles north of us with two university towns. There are far more computer for sale there than here, and that affects pricing by 15-35 percent.

Bottom line: Asking about values here doesn't work very well. Sorry.

As mentioned, it varies depending on the region and configuration.

If you go to everymac.com and look down towards the bottom, the estimated value is around $1300-$1500 US.

If you look at a Refurbished 27" 2017 iMac's, you see that different configurations are selling for $1100-$1600 US.

When I looked on Craigslist, I found a base i5 model going for $900 US and an i7 SSD model going for $1500 US.

So on the open market, it really depends on which configuration you have, where you are and what someone is will to pay.

Likewise, you can expect to get a low-ball offer for a trade-in or third party refurbisher.
