If you can't reset your Mac login password   *

If you forgot the Apple ID (iCloud) password, enter the Apple (iCloud) ID, and click Forgot Password. See if you can get a Rescue or Notification email option if necessary. Link to contact Apple Support at the end of the 2nd article.

same here, after restarting of mac or after normal shut down, mac doesn't accept my password (im sure im typing password correctly)

then I have to reset my password using Apple ID login. Happened three times after macOS updated to 12.
