Water in Lightning Port

Hello, when I plug my phone in, there is no sort of notification about there being water in my lightning port (iphone 11, had it less than a year). Once my phone gets to be above 80 percent is when it will give me the notification and stop charging my phone. It didn't start doing this until after IOS 15. I have tried to reset my phone and I am just getting very frustrated with it.
