You can share higher-resolution photos and scans from iCloud (links below), or can switch to a messaging app that doesn’t over-compress images and otherwise send potato-grade image resolutions, or via email.

Based on what I can find, there’s no way to bypass this image compression either within Facebook whether for posting materials, or sending materials through Facebook Messenger.

Checked and cleaned the lens?

Are all photos blurry, or just documents?

If you're scanning documents, are documents scanned with the Notes app also blurry?

Are you referring to Facebook Messenger? If so, it very well could be the application is compressing the photo and is causing this problem. Are you able to email the photo and it remain intact?
